Dear Parents, Alumni and Friends:
FPA (Friends of the Performing Arts) is a totally volunteer organization with one goal, “To promote and support the arts in Quincy Public Schools.” We are truly grateful to those who generously contribute their time and money, and for a community that understands the importance of the arts in our schools.
We know that you will want to be part of a growing “tradition” by joining FPA. We also want to stress that FPA is not just for parents of QHS students. Whether you are a parent of a student at Baldwin, QJHS, or QHS…an alum…or an interested friend of the arts, your membership in “Friends of the Performing Arts” is an investment in quality programs for young people.
We hope we can count on you to join “FPA” this year so the organization can continue supporting the arts in Quincy Public Schools.

2009 QHS Musical – West Side Story
WGEM’s Coverage of West Side Story
“It’s full of wonderful dance and wonderful music. The students have been working since August and in a week from Wednesday, we’re going to be ready to go,” said Dan Sherman.
The show runs November 11th through the 15th in the QHS theater. Ticket can be purchased by calling the Quincy High Music Department at 217-224-3774.
